SAMS Odisha B.Ed Admission 2026: Entrance, Result and Integrated B.Ed

B.Ed admission 2026 at a glance

For the 2026 cycle, the entrance was conducted by the State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha. These dates were reported by news outlets; we did not see them on an official notice.

Careers360 reported 2,450 B.Ed seats for 2026: 1,700 regular and 750 self-financing.

Result date conflict: sources give different B.Ed result dates for 2026: 11 July, 15 July and 31 July. Careers360 and Testbook say 11 July. We could not confirm the date officially, so rely on the te.samsodisha.gov.in portal for your own result.

How the B.Ed process usually works

1. Apply for the entrance in the window announced on the official portal (it closed on 6 April in 2026, as reported).
2. Download your hall ticket only from the official SSB or SAMS link. Type the address yourself.
3. Sit the entrance exam (31 May in 2026, as reported).
4. Check your result on te.samsodisha.gov.in, which Testbook reported as the B.Ed results portal.
5. Take part in the selection rounds and choose your colleges as the portal allows.
6. Report to the allotted college with original documents and the fee shown.
7. If you miss out, watch for the spot round (1 October 2026 merit list, as reported).

Watch out for fake hall ticket links

CollegeDekho reported on 27 May 2026 that a B.Ed hall ticket link was on ssbodisha.site, which differs from the official SSB Odisha domain, ssbodisha.ac.in. Always check the domain before entering any details. A small change in spelling or ending (.site instead of .ac.in) is a common trick.

4-year ITEP (integrated B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. B.Ed.)

ITEP is for students right after +2. The official ITEP FAQ on the SAMS degree portal gives these 2026-27 facts:

3 Year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

The official FAQ for this course (on imed.samsodisha.gov.in) says you choose a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 options, and that fees are collected online by SAMS. The FAQ text refers to 2025-26, so confirm the 2026 rules on the portal. For a regular master's instead, see our PG admission guide.

D.El.Ed (CT) in brief

D.El.Ed, often called CT (Certificate in Teaching), trains elementary school teachers. The official FAQ on the SCERT SAMS portal says:

• It is a single course, and the entrance is an online CBT.
• Candidates select a minimum and maximum of 68 options.
• Fee is Rs 2,800 at 67 institutions and Rs 18,512 at Thompson Women's Training Institute, Cuttack (excluding hostel).
• There are seven quotas: State, BIET, Santali, Telugu, Urdu, Christian Community and Kandhamal.

The SCERT portal also has a "Statewide cut-off" page. Exact 2026 D.El.Ed dates and CAF fees are commonly listed online, but we could not confirm them; check the official SCERT portal.

Stay safe

This guide is independent and is not connected to SAMS, the Higher Education Department or any government office. We never ask for your CAF number, roll number, login ID, password, OTP, Aadhaar or bank details, so please do not send them to us.

• Fill the CAF yourself on the official portal and pay only the official fee shown there, if any.
• Never share your OTP, Aadhaar or bank details with unknown callers, even if they say they are from SAMS or a college.
• Beware of fake websites, fake result or merit list links, and agents who promise a seat for money. Seats are given only through the official selection rounds.
• Open the portal by typing samsodisha.gov.in yourself instead of clicking forwarded links.
