How to check the CHSE 12th result (official sites first)
Results are free on the official sites. You do not need to pay anyone, and you do not need to share your roll number with any unknown website. As reported by Outlook India, the 2026 result was available on chseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in, results.odisha.gov.in and DigiLocker.
- Open the CHSE site at chseodisha.nic.in. Look for the "Results" quick link, which points to results.odisha.gov.in. You can also open orissaresults.nic.in directly, which is linked from the CHSE footer.
- Choose the link for the right year (2026) and your stream: Arts, Science, Commerce or Vocational.
- Enter the details the page asks for. News outlets reported different fields (roll number with registration number, or application number with date of birth), so keep your admit card handy and fill exactly what the screen shows.
- Check your name, subjects and marks carefully.
- Download or print the provisional marksheet and keep a copy on your phone.
If the screen looks different from these steps, do not worry. Menu names change every year. Go back to the CHSE home page and look for the result link again.
SMS result codes reported online conflict and were not confirmed officially, so use the websites or DigiLocker.

Marksheet, certificates and DigiLocker
The online result is provisional. Your original documents come later through your school.
- Original certificates: CHSE's notice of 11 June 2026 says original certificates, mark sheets, migration certificates and TR of AHSE 2026 were distributed from 16.06.2026 at the CHSE Head Office in Bhubaneswar and the Zonal Offices at Berhampur, Baripada and Sambalpur. Schools had to send an authorised official to collect them. So students normally collect originals from their own Higher Secondary School.
- DigiLocker: digital marksheets were available through DigiLocker in 2026, as reported. Outlook said they appear under "Issued Documents" when you search for "Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha". DigiLocker menus may look different.
- Verification and migration: the CHSE Portal at chse.odisha.gov.in lists services such as marksheet verification, certificate verification, migration certificate issuance, re-addition of marks and provisional certificate issuance.
You may see websites calling themselves "CHSE e-despatch". Our researchers found no official CHSE page that mentions such a portal, and CHSE's own 2026 notice describes distribution through offices and schools. Be careful with unknown "edespatch" links. Read more on the CHSE Odisha board guide.
Re-checking and re-addition of marks 2026

Next step after +2: SAMS +3 and other admissions
After the CHSE result, most students apply for degree (+3) admission through SAMS (Student Academic Management System) on the official portal samsodisha.gov.in. For 2026, the Higher Education Department press note of 26 May 2026 said the +3 CAF (Common Application Form) opened at 4:00 pm on 27 May 2026 and closed on 10 June 2026. The first merit list (ମେଧା ତାଲିକା) was released on 22 June 2026, according to an official press note, and later rounds followed in July and August. A Phase II round ran in September 2026, as reported.
From 2026-27, students admitted to Regular Mode UG courses under SAMS get free education, according to a DHE letter dated 07.07.2026. Read the full process in our SAMS +3 admission guide and see how cut-offs worked in the cut-off marks guide.
